Honestly, I thought J Quinn had won the lip sync. I wasn't crazy about Zymba taking off her top with nothing underneath and all the gimmicks. She seemed too desperate, but I really like Zymba & am happy she's staying.

i think the reason why they found her jokes offensive, regardless of where she's coming from, is cuz the general public especially back in the day tend to harshly look down on people with dark skin and/or curly hair here, to the point they were bullied enough into thinking they need to straighten it and use whitening products (which is still commonly advertised here quite a bit) so in short they don't want to push that message along with other stereotypes and beauty standards any further than it already was and want to show inclusion for all skintones and hair types in the show

Mamaaa the jokes were likely offensive so it deserved to be edited out for good. We don't want drph s3 to be cancelledt lol

Zymba said that the spray was color pink but she forgot to shake it. the spray is Zymba's reference to Brigidings black spray on her lip sync

Coach reference, the guest judge joined the voice kids, and sarah g is his mentor. John - angel locsin - she is a famous actress back in the 90's and 2000's. John's portrayal are centered on her mannerism. The wolf is refered to one of her tv series

Hello! For context about Maxie’s character (because it seems no one has mentioned it in the comments yet), shes the “Babae sa Balete Drive”(translation: The Lady at Balete Drive). Its a popular ghost story in the Philippines. Theres a street in Manila called Balete Drive where there’s a huge tree called “Balete” and there’s a lot of paranormal stories surrounding that particular tree and one of those is that there’s a ghost(lady) that is waiting at the Balete tree. The stories i heard range from taxi/jeepney drivers seeing the ghost lady whenever they pass that tree and some stories even said that the ghost came with them in the vehicle, seeing her in their rear view mirror. Its one of the stories that haunted me as a kid and i dont even lived in Manila lol. 😂

I thought Zymbaa's lip sync was chaotic and hate that she took her top off but I did feel her fire more than J Quinn and J Quinn was doing bubblegum watermelon most of the song

Some of Zymba's jokes were probably edited out because of how egregious it was. They just left bits of it to justify her critiques, which was smart for the prod to do since it did not stain the overall package of this snatch game.

For content they all hating on jquinn cuz she keeps telling that she felt like she's the main character, acting cute when half of them know her as very aggressive in bars lol

Afaik, zymba's top is slipping off so she needs to remove it. Also, the spray supposed to sprinkle colors on her hair and dress (just like brigiding's lipsync against lady morgana) but she forgot to shake it.

I actually agree with your opinion on Zymba. They cannot tell someone with curly hairs to not tell curly hair jokes. If something, they have the most rights to tell such jokes. However, I think the judges thought of the possible backlash they (or Zymba at least) would receive simce most of local DRPh viewers are forward minded. Despite that, none of Zymba's jokes landed even if they would give her a free pass just because she's naturally curly.

I’m so sorry I LOVED this lip sync from Zymba and I was right there with Jiggly cheerin her on! She knew the words to a T and her chest piece was already falling off so rather than futzing with it she threw it off I would do the exact same thing.. the whole episode was so amazing

John looks like she is about to transform to a wolf because majority of the roles of he is portraying are wolves.

John's imitation of Angel transforming to a wolf was spot on. It gave me the longest and hardest laugh for this entire episode🤣🤣🤣
